An excellent quality print of Jane Austen's own sampler. Looks lovely framed - almost like the real thing!

Jane would have been 12 years old when she made this lovely sampler.

Printed to a very high detail - you can see every stitch!

The original sampler was sold at auction in 1996 for over £2000. Here is the extract from the sale catalogue:

"A late C18th sampler designed with the psalm "Praise the Lord O my soul", and two small flowering trees within a stylised floral border worked mainly in plum and green silk corss stitch on linen (damaged) by Jane Austen 1797 (altered 1787) 29cm x 226cm.
The present owner received the sampler as a present, folded inside a tobacco tin."

Printed on paper measures 10" x 11.3"
Packaged in a clear plastic roll.
