An Innocent Diversion CD

This is a delightful collection of music. Some pieces are selected from known favourites of Jane Austen, a noted music lover, others are pieces that she is likely to have been familiar with. They are either played on a Broadwood fortepiano from 1801, or a Stodart Square piano, from 1807, identical to the one Jane herself owned. Using these genuine instruments provides a light and delicate edge to the music, recreating the sound the way Jane would have appreciated it.
