Buttons - Handmade - Porcelain - Exclusive

  • Backed on a card with pretty Regency inspired fabric.
  • Each button measures 12mm

    The buttons are hand made by rolling out porcelain clay and cutting them out using sugarcraft cutters. A real shell is pressed into the wet clay to produce the ‘shell’ buttons. Then they are cleaned and coated with several layers of white porcelain glaze. They are then ready for firing in the kiln at Shamrock Cottage, which takes 12 hours, and they need a very high temperature. It is nice and cosy in the winter but can get very hot in the summer months!

    Add these pretty buttons to anything! They are the perfect finishing touch for countless items.
